On February 20, 2021, according to the study plan, Haiguang's party branch organized party members to carry out thematic party day activities in Xiangshan Shuangqing Villa in order to strengthen the study and education of party history, encourage party members to keep their original aspirations and keep in mind their mission.

Through the activities, party members learned that Shuangqing Villa was the place where the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries such as Mao Zedong moved from Xibaipo to Beiping from March to August 1949, where they lived and worked. It was once the command center of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. Mao Zedong and other leading comrades of the central government discussed the grand plan here, commanded the battle of crossing the river, and prepared for the convening of the New Political Consultative Conference. At the time when the war of liberation is about to be won and the new China is about to be born Chapter.

All party members visited the “Picture Display of Chairman Mao Zedong’s Activities in Shuangqing” to learn about the life and work of the older generation of revolutionaries such as Mao Zedong and Liu Shaoqi in the Shuangqing Villa. I realized the hardship and difficulty of the Chinese Communist Party leading the people to liberate the whole of China and build a new China.

Comrade Liu Haitao, secretary of the Party’s general branch, led the general branch members to revisit the oath of joining the party under the party’s banner. All party members stood up, facing the bright red party flag, and pronounced the oath again with a sonorous voice, and solemnly swore under the party’s banner to recall the original intention of joining the party.

The secretary of the general branch put forward requirements for all party members to play an exemplary and leading role in the new year. After the thematic party day event, the party members expressed that under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, they must continue to carry forward and inherit the revolutionary spirit of the revolutionary martyrs, remember their identity as party members, make contributions based on their posts, and earnestly work hard to achieve success.
